Weekly Update Report #5

July 20, 2018

From The Fund Manager

Dear Investors,

Another busy week has gone by and we have had another week of positive growth.

This week I owe a big thank you to our support team as I was away for most of the week. However, they all did a great job and got some important tasks done, especially around bounty disbursements.

Speaking of bounties, many of our bounty participants sold their holdings cheap on the exchanges, creating a great opportunity for both the fund and investors to snap up some under-priced CHT tokens.

We are making one of our projects this coming week -- a way to show the effect of Countinghouse buying up cheap CHT tokens on the market, to be included in our reports.  There are options in presenting this information, and we will be having a round table on it early next week.  We may hit the community up with some ideas for your feedback.

On a side note about community feedback and suggestions:  You may find that when you give an idea about reporting or any other Countinghouse framework, you might have received something of a standard reply like, ‘The team will look into this’.  However, please be assured that your ideas are very much appreciated, and we have every intention to look into them.  All we need is time to get things done correctly before we can make any official announcements.  The last thing we want to do is to commit to something that the community didn’t actually want or something that doesn’t add value, but would increase running costs.

So, please allow time for us to properly look into your ideas and suggestions as we are also still managing our normal workload, plus working on these items for improvement.

We are looking forward to a lot in the pipeline, including a great opportunity that has presented itself, but needs a lot more work before we can release any info to the community.  Stay tuned over the next few months and more details will emerge.

That’s all from me for now, more again next week.

Best Regards,

Tim

Valuation – Jae Jun Method

Fundamental value (sometimes referred to as intrinsic value) is a calculation to determine the actual value of a share, unit or in this case a token when looked at as an investment.

We have chosen the Jae Jun Intrinsic Value Formula. The main reason we like the Jae Jun is because it is one of the most conservative calculations there is.

Now we have kept to how this is traditionally used and that is to base it on a 10 year return, factoring in the yield reducing over time. We have also taken an extra step to be even more conservative on this calculation; Jae Jun reduced the ‘no growth PE ratio’ from 8.5 to 7 but due to the increased volatility in the crypto market we think it is more prudent to reduce this value all the way to 1 (this value operates as a multiplier in the calculation so reducing it to one is very significant in the results the formula we return).
